HOUSTON -- A teenager will be sentenced Thursday in connection with a car crash that killed his brother and three other teens, KPRC Local 2 reported. Bobby Davis was 15 years old when he crashed a stolen Jeep into a parked train in Baytown in June 2007.

Sometime during the night between Monday and Tuesday, someone cut the catalytic converter off of a 2001 Jeep Cherokee parked in the lot at Budget Brakes, 15140 Middlebelt. Catalytic converters are part of a car's exhaust system and have been a target for thieves because of their value as scrap metal. The cost to replace the unit is approximately $600 for that make and model.

The California Highway Patrol office in Winterhaven has filed a complaint with the Imperial County District Attorney's Office recommending charges be filed against the driver of a Jeep involved a single-vehicle accident in September that claimed the life of a Yuma teenager.
