BEAR, Del. — New Castle County police say officers arrested a Newark man and a Maryland teen on drug and robbery charges after a Jeep hit two homes and ruptured a gas line in the Bear area, but one of them has escaped.

Two New London residents were injured at 5:04 p.m. Tuesday when their Jeep slid off Route V east of New London. Lanora G. Miler, 68, and her passenger, Gordon Miler, 67, were taken by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

Two unidentified men were found shot to death Tuesday night in a Jeep Cherokee at the intersection of Monterrey and Chihuahua streets in the Melchor Ocampo neighborhood of Juarez, Chihuahua state police said.
