11 Jharkhand cops killed in Maoist attack 31 Aug 2008, 0206 hrs IST,TNN (The Times of India)

RANCHI: Maoists blew up a police jeep on Saturday by triggering a landmine that killed 11 cops near Burudih dam in Ghatshila area of East Singhbhum district in Jharkhand. Those killed included a sub-inspector, three havildars, six constables and the jeep driver.
