Three men suspected of stealing guns and other items from cars proved no match in a foot race Tuesday evening with police. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say officers spotted a white Jeep Cherokee about 7:20 p.m. that they suspected had been used in several cases of theft from vehicle.
